Why order wristbands and cards together?
An event wristband is issued under time pressure, presented hundreds of times and photographed all weekend. It has to move people quickly without looking disposable. We have been printing and encoding cards and bands since 2000, and for events we build the whole family in one run: wearables where hands are full, cards and badges where a face and a role have to be visible. Same artwork, same colour standard, one delivery. Where the gate readers and the room locks are different technology, we tell you before artwork starts.

Woven RFID wristbands for multi-day events
We weave the band, set a low-profile RFID body into it and fit the closure your transfer policy needs. Colour separates event days, ticket tiers or crew groups without making the band feel like a receipt. Before the volume run we dispatch a pre-production sample within 7 to 10 days, so your team can wear it, pull the closure and read it on your own gates.

Cotton-cord RFID wristbands with natural wood plaques
We cut and engrave the plaque from FSC-certified wood, knot each cotton-cord bracelet by hand and set the RFID body behind the wood face. Cord colour, wood species, plaque shape and artwork are specified together, because they are one product. The sliding-knot clasp fits adult, youth and child wrists from a single build, which takes size sorting out of a hosted check-in.

Single-use PVC RFID wristbands for one-day admission
A thin printed band with a flat RFID area and a one-way closure that cannot be reopened without showing it. We print on 50 to 80% post-consumer recycled PVC, encode and number each band, then pack in the sequence the desk will issue them. It is the cheapest way to colour-code a large one-day crowd. Not for longer than a day.

Reusable silicone RFID wristbands for active and wet events
Our silicone bands are sealed and rated IP67, so rain, a spilled drink or a pool activation does not end the wristband. Adjustable constructions cover a wider wrist range and colour separates access tiers at a glance. We test the finished band on the readers you nominate before signing off the batch.

Produced wood-and-cord RFID wristband examples
These are bracelets we made: adjustable woven-cord wristbands with natural wood RFID plaques, visible grain and hand-tied knots. We photograph produced work alongside the visualizations because cord thickness, plaque scale and closure behaviour never read the same on a render. Look at both before you approve artwork.

RFID cards and wristbands from one event run
We produced this pairing as one job: an RFID card and a woven-cord wooden bracelet sharing an identity. A larger program adds badges, staff and vendor cards and media passes. We print them in one run, then encode and pack each group to its own rule, so the crew card and the guest band never share a carton.

Where do guests use the wristband?
Six frames, one guest. The same wristband is packed, issued, tapped at a gate, shown at a lounge and worn back the next morning. What changes between frames is the construction we would build, and why.

We pack in the order the desk issues. Colour-separated batches by guest group, day or package, cartons labelled against the registration list, spare stock counted separately. Every band carries an individual number, so a host can pull one guest’s band without opening five bags.

A band on a wrist presents faster than a card in a pocket, and in a long admission lane that difference is the whole queue. We build the RFID body to your reader specification. Our 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz families cover most installed access control hardware.

At an installation, a sealed silicone band presents its identifier and the sponsor platform does the rest. We build activation bands in silicone because they run outdoors and get wet. Ours are rated IP67, with no seam for water to find.

Natural wood-and-cord RFID wristband
Wood and cord reads as hospitality rather than ticket media, so VIP guests keep it on afterwards. We cut each plaque from FSC-certified wood and tie the cord by hand. Laser engraving into wood is permanent. Print on a plastic tier band is not.

Each band carries one fixed identifier, encoded and serialised by us before it ships. Your payment platform links that identifier to a guest account, holds the balance and clears the sale at the terminal. No money sits on the wristband. We hand over the identifier list as a file so registration can load it before doors.

Durable multi-day woven RFID wristband
A festival band is worn through sleep and rain. Woven cord and silicone survive that. We will not put a single-use PVC band on a multi-day program: the one-way closure that makes it tamper-evident is what makes it unbearable by the second night.

A weekend festival, a one-day conference and a destination incentive are not the same object. We start from two things: what your readers accept, and how long the band stays on a wrist. The rest is settled in the sample.

We do not run the ticketing, access control, POS or cashless software behind it, and we will not claim compatibility we have not tested. Send the approved reader specification. What do you need for a quote?
A quotation needs more than a quantity and a colour. Four things move the price and the lead time: the readers, the audience split, the wear period and the packing sequence. Here is what we do with each of them.
Send the reader list and we match the chip
We need the approved frequency and encoding for every reader the band will touch, and we will tell you before artwork whether one band can serve them all. Our 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz families cover most installed hardware. Where they do not, we say so.
Understand RFID and NFC technologyWe build the audience split into the run
Guests, crew, media and security rarely want the same object. We produce them as one job on one colour standard, then encode, number and pack each group separately. Send the groups and we handle the split.

Hours or days, indoors or out, wet or dry. We pick the body from that: recycled PVC for one day, woven fabric or cord for a weekend, IP67 silicone for anything wet. Then we sample the whole band, because that is what fails, not the chip.

For a private group at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, we made the President’s Club RFID bracelet: group artwork engraved into a warm wooden plaque with turquoise stone and black beads, with RFID specified for hotel room access. It was the event identity, the room key and the thing guests took home. We tested the finished bracelet against the approved venue reader information before production. No property endorsement or affiliation is implied.

What are RFID wristbands used for at events?
Admission, re-entry, VIP zones, sponsor activations, hotel rooms, lockers and cashless purchases. The band carries an identifier; the connected platform decides what it may do. We make the band and encode the identifier.
What is the minimum order for RFID event wristbands?
From 500 units per design. Each artwork carries its own 500, so a run split across colours or tiers is quoted group by group. Samples ship in 7 to 10 days and bulk runs 3 to 4 weeks from artwork approval.
Can one RFID event wristband support entry, VIP access and cashless payments?
Yes, when the gate, the door and the terminal all accept the same chip family. Often they do not, and then one band cannot cover everything. Send the reader list and we will tell you which case you are in.
Does PrintPlast provide event ticketing, cashless or access-control software?
No. We are a manufacturer. We make and personalise the wristbands, bracelets and cards; your organizer, venue and technology partners run the software.
Which RFID wristband is best for a multi-day festival?
Woven fabric, most of the time. Light, comfortable overnight, takes colour well. Choose IP67 silicone if the event is wet, or wood and cord for VIP tiers where the band is also a keepsake. We would not use a single-use PVC band for more than one day.
Can RFID wristband colors identify ticket or access tiers?
Yes. We match textile, silicone, cord, bead and print palettes to your tier structure, so staff can read a wrist across a crowded lane. Colour speeds up recognition. It does not grant access on its own.
Can event RFID wristbands be personalized or numbered?
Yes. Full-colour UV print, laser engraving and individual guest numbering, plus barcodes, QR codes and UID association. We confirm the personalisation fields and the data file format before proofing. A mismatched field list is the usual cause of a reprint.
How should RFID wristbands be packed for event registration?
In the order you issue them. Give us the desk plan with the artwork and we build the packing list around it. Cartons are labelled, spare stock is boxed separately and serial ranges stay whole.
Can RFID event wristbands be reused?
Silicone and some cord constructions come back for a second event if you have a collection process. Whether it is worth it depends on closure design and cleaning discipline. Work out the return workflow first: a reuse plan nobody runs is not an environmental claim.

Quantities by day, audience and format; event and delivery dates; the approved chip, reader and encoding requirements; artwork and personalisation fields; wear conditions; packing sequence; and the delivery destination.
