Are these sleeves made from FSC-certified paper?
Yes. PrintPlast can produce hotel key card sleeves from FSC-certified paper and paperboard stocks. The exact FSC claim and any on-product mark are handled during artwork approval so the final sleeve matches the approved paper source and certification requirements.
Can wooden hotel key cards fit inside paper sleeves?
Yes. We size the sleeve with enough clearance for thin CR80 wooden RFID cards, including 0.76 mm card thickness and rounded corners. We avoid tight pockets that scrape the wood or make removal difficult.
What is the most common sleeve format?
The most common hotel format is a flat portrait sleeve with one open top edge, a U-shaped thumb notch and glued side seams. It is usually printed with room number, departure date and Wi-Fi fields.
Can sleeves be printed with hotel branding?
Yes. Sleeves can be printed in one color, full-color CMYK or Pantone spot colors. Common artwork includes maps, QR codes, welcome notes, sustainability messages, brand patterns and guest information fields.
Can you make premium sleeve shapes?
Yes. Besides the standard top-open sleeve, we can produce side-pull sleeves, V-notches, diagonal pockets, window cuts, tuck flaps, bifold holders, double-pocket folders and custom dielines.
Can sleeves be ordered with the key cards?
Yes. Sleeves are intended as a companion service for wooden key cards, recycled PVC cards and PPH BioBoard cards. They can be produced and packed together with your encoded key cards.
