How much do custom hotel key cards cost?

As a guide, cards range from $0.80 to $2.00 per card at standard volumes, with the minimum order at 500 cards. Volume orders from 1,000+ cards reduce per-unit cost significantly — request a quote for exact pricing.
What is the minimum order for custom key cards?
Our minimum order is 500 cards per design. This covers separate printing plates, Pantone matching, and per-card RFID encoding and testing.
How long does production take?
Print-ready proofs are returned within 2–3 business days. After approval, standard production and delivery takes 2–3 weeks. Rush production is available for urgent openings, rebrands, and replenishment orders.
What artwork formats do you accept?
Print-ready AI, EPS, or PDF files at 300 DPI with 3mm bleed are ideal. If you only have a logo or brand guidelines, our in-house design team will create the card artwork for you free of charge.
Can you match our exact brand colors?
Yes. We print Pantone spot colors alongside CMYK and verify every run with a color spectrometer, so your brand color is reproduced identically on the first order and every reorder.
Will custom cards work with our existing lock system?
Yes. We supply and encode 125kHz and 13.56MHz RFID chips, including high-security encrypted options and NFC, matched to your lock system. Tell us your lock brand and model — or send us a working sample card — and we confirm the correct chip before production.
Can we see samples before ordering?
Yes. A free sample kit with all three materials and finish examples ships within 48 hours. Printed proofs of your own design are available before full production.
