PrintPlast recently worked with Virgin Active Mayfair on a custom wristband for the London club. The finished design brings together a dark, softly rounded tag engraved with the Virgin Active mark and MAYFAIR lettering, threaded onto a black braided cotton cord.
It is a small product with a precise visual brief: the club name must be readable, the dark materials must feel cohesive, and the strap must sit comfortably on the wrist. The adjustable sliding-knot closure gives the cord a neat finish without a bulky buckle.

A Club Identity Carried on the Wrist
The tag carries the familiar Virgin Active signature above the Mayfair name. Against the matte dark surface, the engraving is understated until the light catches it. The cord continues that restrained look, while its braided texture adds detail up close.
For a fitness club, a wearable item is seen in motion throughout the day. This wristband was designed to look considered at that scale: recognisable branding, compact proportions and a closure that adjusts to the wearer.

Made for a London Club
Mayfair is one of Virgin Active’s London clubs. This project shows how a club-specific detail can be built into a wearable product without losing the parent brand: the mark stays prominent, while the location is engraved directly below it.
