Wooden key cards
A wood card body uses a renewable material and can reduce the need for virgin plastic. A finished RFID card also contains a chip, antenna, bonding materials, and finishes, so its environmental profile and end-of-life route depend on the exact construction. Ask us for the specification of your chosen build.
PPH BioBoard key cards
Card bodies made from compressed wood fibres, with RFID components specified separately. End-of-life options depend on the complete card construction, including chip, antenna, adhesives and finishes, and on local collection facilities. Do not assume that a wood or fibre card body makes the finished RFID card compostable. Ask for construction details and an appropriate collection route.
Recycled PVC cards
Recycled content can reduce virgin PVC use. The recycled proportion, finished-card construction and environmental impact depend on the specification; ask for the details of your chosen build.
Material evidence
Carbon calculations require product-specific emission factors, a defined system boundary and source documents.

Share the hotel reader and encoder models, an existing credential or chip reference, and the required frequency and data format. A material choice does not establish electronic compatibility. Approve finished samples on the actual readers and encoding workflow before releasing volume production.
